Returns Policy

At Smart Habitats, we strive to provide high-quality smart home products with a seamless shopping experience. As a dropshipping store, our return process may differ from traditional retailers. Please review our policy carefully before making a purchase.

Return Eligibility

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order if:
✔ The item is defective, damaged, or incorrect upon arrival.
✔ The product is unused and in its original packaging (for change-of-mind returns, if applicable).
✔ You have contacted us and received approval for the return.

🚨 Important: Due to our dropshipping model, we do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse or minor shipping delays. Please ensure you review product details before purchasing.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact Us First – Email us at contact@smarthabitats.co.uk with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the product if it's damaged or defective.
  2. Await Approval – We will review your request and provide return instructions if eligible.
  3. Return to Supplier – If required, you will need to ship the item back to the supplier (return address will be provided upon approval).
  4. Refund or Replacement – Once the supplier confirms receipt and approval, we will process a refund or send a replacement.

Refund Process

✔ If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
✔ Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
✔ If returning to the supplier, you are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Exchanges & Damaged Items

  • If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos, and we’ll work with the supplier to resolve the issue.
  • In most cases, a replacement will be sent at no extra cost.

Cancellations & Order Changes

  • Orders cannot be canceled once they have been processed. If you need to make changes, contact us within 24 hours of placing your order, and we will do our best to assist.
